On frequent demand of Philanthropist, Educationist and Well-Wishers of Gopalganj, DAV College Managing Committee; New Delhi, heralded a new era at Thawe, Gopalganj, Bihar by stablishing DAV Public School in 2008 on the historical land of Maa Durga. The school is now running with dynamic vibrancy and is affiliated to CBSE; Delhi up to Senior Secondary level.

The school has more than 3 acres of land. A magnified building in the lap of nature having specious and airy classroom with well-equipped separate laboratories for Physics,  Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Modern Computer lab, Modern and traditional music room, rich and modern library and a big play ground with proposed sculpture and Language Lab.

 We facilitate the students with opportunities on one hand in the purest form of Indian culture and heritage and on other, in modern in knowledge of science.

Our aim is to inculcate moral values in the student a thirst for knowledge, devotion to duty, honesty, and patriotic fervor besides humanism. To impact education with the motto ‘quality at all costs’, individual attention is given to each child through special classes and remedial teaching. Through constant in school and inter school competitions such as debates, elocutions, mantra recitation and singing of rhymes and hymns the student get opportunity to equate themselves with the rich spiritual lineage. They reflect upon the current affairs of our country and suggest solutions which may sometimes astound the grown-ups. They stage spectacular cultural track, field and athletic events.
